Have u seen this?
« on: Jan 05, 2010, 07:14 PM »
Vex lights up after dark in 35 ft hole from 20 ft or so all the way to the bottom. It does not do this during day. Wondering if some kind of plankton or something moves in. whatever it is, it dosen't move and i cant snag it! You tell me.

Push the interference button. If your fishing next to someone else using any kind of electronics especially.

Turn your lights off for a few minutes.  Maybe it is plankton coming to the light?.

loch ness monster.  Seen em a hundred times... Next time it happens drop an underwater cam, bet you $1 its him.....  He is quite the friendly little guy, dont try to snag em, that just ticks em off.

thats my guess.i have it happen all the time at 1 lake every hole i drill or even if im just sittin come dark a cloud of green and a little yellow will show up.in the vex handbook it says it can pick up plankton i think.if it was baitfish i wouldve had a nibble.

we would see that after sundown salmon fishing in Lk MI - the graph would be stacked top to bottom. The fish would go off for a short while right after o dark 30 and then shut down.

Saw this tonight as I expected the we started hammering crappies right below the green blips. It was lights out for about an hour and a half  :o.......Kept a single limit of solid slabbers.......
