Nice fish that was probably a lot of fun wrestling that on top . Thought you were going to Boysen ? I went down Saturday night and had no flags until Sunday morning and by 3:00 pm I had caught six Walleye and kept one and caught a bunch of perch and kept 10. The ice was 16"

Nice fish Iceslayer it has been eight years since I last was in your state (June 2001). I have family in Casper one of my cousins husbands was the post master at the Alcova post office. He is retired from that job and currently work at the Walmart in the mall outside of Casper.
Beautiful country out your way how do you deal with the low temperature and the ever present winds ,ten mph wind are a normal breeze out your way.
A good New Year and ice season to all of you, I have to get back out to Wyoming one of these days.

Real nice bow!  Pathfinder appears to be fairly full of water.  Last time I fished it the inlet canyon section was all river-

I have a brother who lives in Casper and likes to ice fish on pathfinder.  I would like to go down and fish it sometime but wanted to know what to use.  What do you use for bait and jigs and what time of day is the most effective?  Any tips would be great.

I always had good luck with a white or pink sweedish pimple tipped with a minnow.  If you go that route make sure you bag the treble hook and add a single #4 red hook.  Goose

I fished pathfinder on Sunday and managed to pull one through the ice.  Ice was 10-12". It was a nice bow, about 22in.  A few flags but no big bites.  I was fishing downstream of bishop point.  This was my second outing this year to pathfinder and the fishing has been the same.  I am mainly using tip ups with minnows and worms.  Fishing from 12-30 ft of water. Anywhere from 5' to 20' below the ice. What are other people using? In the past the fishing has been more constant, more bites per hour. Thanks for the help. FYI, I drive a green 4 wheeler with a white trailer that I fish out of.  Stop by anytime.

We fished pathfinder on new years and did real well caught them on tip-ups with a minnow and I also caught a few with a pearl jig head tipped with a minnow...We were fishing in 15' of water and they were hitting the minnows anywere from 6' to right under the ice!!! Sure is fun catching those big rainbows on the little poles!!! Anyone catching any walleye??? They sure are hard to find this time of year in pathfinder....
