Omg,here we go again.

There is not LOTS of 7lb pike in there.I have a feeling u did most of your fishing in the 90's when u were 10 years old.

i hate to defend fruad!!! but ive fished this lake probably 20-25 times in my young life
ive personally pulled up a 11.8 LB pike... by far my biggest pike ever ice fishing. ive also hammered a few 6 lbs there. maybe 3-4 of them. there are plenty of pike, and i use to do well for perch, but not of recently. the water is extremely murky this year and it appears the "crowd" of vehicles that drive straight south have change there path to SW now. needless to say there are plenty of pike in there, some big ones, but no its no trophy lake. i have also seen some nice burbs pulled outta there, and in the specs it says theres eyes there. personally never seen one on the camera or one yanked out! however i would take the extra hour drive and go to the east, or more north if u want quality big pike.

I'm not saying there has never been a big fish pulled out of there...I was saying B.S when he said there's LOTS of 7lb pike in there...the lake used to be good, not now.

If your looking for C & R pike i know wabumun has some lunkers in it and lots of people do well there, I have hooke lots in the 6 to 8lb range in Isle, Jackfish is supposed to have some good ones, mayatan aswell. i have caught some in both these lakes but never spent any amount of time in them.

For under and hours drive C & R pike Wabamum is the best late in the fall was some of the best Pike fishing ever, many 10+ and three over 20. In the winter down off the Fallis point there are some monsters. I believe maybe 30s ??? With keep in mind sport fishing only you can't and don't want to keep these fish. But it is a gas catching them. Enjoy!
