Labrador Pond
« on: Dec 30, 2009, 04:13 PM »
Has anybody ever fished Labrador Pond near Tully?  I looked around and did a search but couldn't find any info on it.

I have fished it a few times in my canoe and would love to try it out on the ice since my favorite spot isn't ready yet.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Trevor

I live in nearby Fabius and every few years give it a try during the summer. Same results every time: one or two dinks at best.

Yep, shallow.  Fished it once or twice in summer.  Stained water, lots of weeds.  Some pannies, bass, and i think pickerel in it.  We checked it a few years back during early ice, and I hit a thin spot out in front of the launch area and went waist deep on one leg.  That was the end of that.
I'm a-going to stay where ya sleep all day,
Where they hung the jerk who invented work
In the big rock candy mountains.
