Glow in the dark lit a spark...
« on: Dec 30, 2009, 06:34 PM »
Hey guys,

Been putting some time in this week due to having a little time off and found some decent slabs 10-13 inchers. With the snow cover I tried glow in the dark jigs, hitting them with the surefire every 15 minutes or so and it made a ton of difference. Inactive fish became active. Just my experience...

It does but not like a high intensity LED light. It makes them pop... I can hit a jig with my surefire and you can see it glow in the shack with the windows exposed.

I use a small flash off an old 35mm camera.  I just hold the jig in my hand and hit the test fire button.  Gives a brighter glow than even an LED light.

I agree with you about the glow in the dark.  We fish a old gravel pit that is about 28 feet at the deepest and when there is plenty of ice or snow on the pond glow in the dark work wonders.  75 percent of my tackle box are glow in the dark.  Maybe not right but works for me.
