Nice Pike ;-)

We had fished nearly all day without any success..sure, we caught about 9 or 10 yellow perch but we were out for monster pike. Until about 2:00pm when my buddy landed this mofo! It weighed 10lbs And was 35" long..he caught it on a 4 inch shiner ;D And believe it or not he caught it in about 2 feet of water..we didnt know at the time that we were fishing up on a sandbar. Yeah it was a slow day of fishing but this bad boy made up for it!

NO its not a muskie its definately a pike...It was caught in the androscoggin river up here in Maine, And to my knowledge there aren't any muskie's in the Androscoggin River. As far as I know we dont have Muskie's here in Maine...and if we do Ive never caught any nor do I know where you could catch them.

Im sorry I take that back...I just did a google search and apparently Maine does have some Muskie's in some of the northern rivers...like ive said Ive never seen one caught and Ive fished this state my whole life...but im still almost absolutely sure that the androscoggin river does not contain any muskie's...there are too many pike already in the river and they are by far the dominant spesies in the river at this time. PLus the Andro doesn't run up north enough.
