Echo conditions anyone?
« on: Dec 25, 2009, 08:39 AM »
Has anyone been out on Echo this week or know how thick it is now that we have had some good ice making weather?

We are getting good ice here in S. County but was not sure how Echo is shaping up.  I have some friends that live on the lake and would like to show them a good safe time.

Thanks for any reports.

I drove down reservior st today and didn't see a soul out on the place. It looked locked up but I didn't stop to check the thickness.
Love those slab crappie, jumbo perch, and always love those bull sunfish. A.F.& A.M.

How is the fishing on Echo? Is it just bass, picks, and perch?

There use to be pike in there a few years ago, not sure of any caught lately. I know that Waterman lake on 44 has the pike in there too.

Waterman's has big pike but I have never seen a pike come out of Echo. Has anyone caught a pike at Echo lately?  Where does everyone park for Watermans?
