Hit Ocean with one of my friends this afternoon. It was no stop action from about 2:30 til dark. Had a grand total of 8 walleye up to four pounds and 17 perch.

My dad was so pumped about the fishing that he closed shop early to head back to the lake. It was a little slower with all the comotion of other people around, but we still did pretty good. A ling, 9 perch, and 5 walleye with a couple four-pounders.

Great fishing men,looks like the ice on ocean is good and solid,was thinking about it myself this weekend,your pics make me think really hard about it.Thanks for the influence.

Made one more trip to Ocean. The perch bite has increased, but the walleye disappeared. Ended up with one walleye and 18 perch, the biggest went 1lb 4oz.

Now that the freezer is stocked up its time to go after some real fish in Boysen tomorrow. Perch are tasty, but I like stuff that actually pulls back

They are good. Its time to catch some fighting fish though.
