Anyone have any experience with the Polaris Hawkeye 300 (2007 specifically)?
What are the good, bad and uglies?

I know a guy that has one and hasn't had a problem with it yet except for a clanging noise in the rear. He took it into the dealer to get it fixed and they told him it is internally chain driven and it is normal. It doesn't sound right to me a new machine making that kind of noise but it hasn't caused a problem yet.

Very slow.  If speed and power aren't a consideration, its a good rig.  A Sportsman ride without the Sportsman price, but they are SLOW.  I'm used to an 800 Sportsman, and I almost fell asleep at full throttle on the Hawkeye

I have 2 300cc quads, slow isn't really a problem to me. When I was on the Hawkeye I know the spedo said at leats 35mph which is more than fast enough on the ice for me.
