I GOT THE BAIT

Anyone have tricks to keeping waxworms or mealworms alive when you order them in bulk. I have a few hundred comming and would like to keep them alive for awhile.

Take a kid fishing,they make great pack mules.
Put the big ones back for another day eat the small ones.

the waxies won't last more than a few weeks so get your moneys worth and sell some to your friends unless you plan on  fishing everyday, warm the mealworms up before you go fishing. I usually put my mealworms in the crisper in the fridge they keep just fine and if you want you can put a slice of an apple in with them to feed them.  That's all I got dude hope you got a good deal on them.

As long as you keep your waxies around 45-50 degrees they will last a long time, mine normally last 1-2 months, Refrigerate the mealies
