Single Hooks or Trebles for Walleyes on Tip-ups?

Do you guys use single hooks or trebles for walleyes on tip-ups?  I use to use all treble hooks, but have recently switch half to small jigs and thinking of replacing the rest of the treble hooks with single octopus hooks.  Thoughts, experiences?

I hook my shiner on the big hook obviously, I think it allows the shiner to swim more freely... havent lost a fish yet!

What size do you use?  Unfortuately, shriners are impossible to come by where I fish and we are left with ever shrinking sizes of fatheads as the season goes on.

I don't remember what size they are... about the size of a quarter, maybe slightly larger

We use trebles on our tipups all the time.  We just seem to have a better hook up ratio.
