Northland Bionic Ice Line
« on: Oct 21, 2010, 07:39 PM »
Looking for some reviews on this line from those that may use it, or have used it. Good, bad, worth trying ? Used Berkley Fireline Micro Ice last year and liked it alot, but cutting that braid cleanly was tough at times.

Haven't fished with it yet but going to give it a shot. I just put it on my 4 reels. 2lb thru 5lb test.

Already? i though this stuff just hit the shelves, have you had it on the ice yet? or did you just spool up and decide it was garbage?

I was wondering the same thing.  How could you have passed judgment on it ? Have you used it already ? Not trying to be a smart a*% or anything. Where have you used it and on what ? Inquiring minds want to know, thats all.

ive used mine a few times since i picked it up a few weeks ago. its not bad stuff but does coil a little just stretch it as you peel it from the reel and it goes away. i like it so far but we will see once the ice comes if it stays on the rods. i also picked up a bunch of spools of the new lindy stuff to give a try that will be on some of my fly reel setups.

Come on ice!

The new Lindy line is awesome! I have been testing it in -8 below in a walk in freezer. With the big spools and the way the line is formulated line twist is a thing of the past even in -8 degrees on micro ice reels.

Check out this video explaining it a bit. -> Lindy Ice Line
