Poorly Supplied Store

Was in the new Allen Texas, Cabella's and didn't see one single ice fishing item. (Was on vacation) Go Figure!!!

Somehow, I don't expect a Cabela's in Texas to have any icefishing item in it whatsoever!

The Cabelas in Pa in the middle of winter has a very poor ice fishing selection.

I am SHOCKED that you weren't able to find icefishing gear in Texas. 
In June.

I'm never giving Cabela's another dime...

My wife did the exact same thing a couple years back! She went with a friend and her kids to visit family in Texas around xmas time and went to Either a Cabellas or Bass Pro in the Dallas area (I don't remember which store exatly) and when she asked the guy in the fishing department where they kept the ice huts, because she was going to buy me a Clam Scout for xmas, she said he looked at her with a completely blank face for what seemed to be forever until he said " We don't get much ice here in Texas." She said it was hillarious. When she told him we live in Buffalo, NY he told her that us "northern" guys must really love to fish if we are willing to sit on a block of ice to do it.

im going to the gander mt. in ocala florida this aug to go visit mom.......hoping there ice fishing stuff will be on sale then..

I'm guessing rugby ice was just being sarcastic. If not I think he's been in the sun too long in texas, and need's to stick his head in a freezer to get back to normal!  ;D

Not likely to get much of a deal then.. They KNOW that the ONLY time we icefishers would visit Florida would be during the summer months...they dbl their prices on ice gear from May til October... ;D ;D ;D

I heard that hockey was invented in florida, yeah back in the day they used to freeze the swamps over and play a little puck.
