Yes, I have (used) one. It is very light weight. It is small. It put out plenty of heat for my 8'x6' shanty that was well insulated (walls, floor, roof with 1/2 foam). Being small, it has a small opening for feeding wood, so you have to use relatively small pieces of wood. Also, since it is small, you must feed it continually or it will soon go out. You might want to consider mounting it up off the floor so it is easier to tend. You also want to burn it hot with doors/windows open initially to get the paint smell, and glavi off the smoke pipe. I used mine most of one season, then built my own, out of heavier gauge metal, and of slightly larger dimensions so I could accommodate larger pieces of wood, and have it burn longer...would still drive me out of the shack. Again, it is made from relatively lightweight metal, so you might want to line the bottom with sand....kind of hard to line the sides, top, back, etc...to prevent burn through.
I have seriously considered a Nu-way propane in the future. You don't have to mess with wood. It is vented, so that reduces the moisture build up inside the shack. It is easily regulated. It is just as lightweight, doesn't generate the ash, is instant on/off...but doesn't smell like burning wood....
In all. I liked my Nu-way. It put out plenty of heat, and was very lightweight.
