OLD FISH TRAP VS NEW FISH TRAP ???

I have one of the original DAVE GENZ FISH TRAPS with canvaslike blue  cover and Kozy kalf deep tub . VG shape

Outdoor Carpeted bench seat that slides back and forth

Hard to pull in deep snow...but roomy. Hold alot of gear

Should i sell it and buy a newer lightweight model with nylon cover?

Go to any store that has them for sale and typically they have some floor models that you can see 1st hand and sit in.  Then it is up to you...if the old one still does the job i see no reason to change...if the new ones really spark your interest with their design or features then get the one you like best!!!

I'm still using the Fish Trap 1, and love it.  Been in it for 12 plus years, and I bought it used.  I have a new Clam too, but still use the Trap the most.
