I did some searching and came across this site. http://www.coppercountry.com/festivals.php if you scroll about half way down and look under fishing tournaments, they only have two listed for now. The 17th Annual Chassell Bay Ice Fishing Derby is on January 17th and the Winter Carnival Fishing Tournament, also in chassell,is on February 7th, from 8 am to 4pm.

Thanks for the information first post is updated.

i will prob attend that derby since i will be returning to MQT from Houghton. Do you have to be present to win at 5:30? I may have to be back in Marquette by 5:30, but that can change.
