Anybody been out there lately?

I'm thinking about making my last trip of the season out there.

I stopped using any mono line years ago for any fishing I do.

In the summer I started using spiderwire and I really like it and in the winter I just throw tip-up line on everything since I'm too lazy to change lines as the season goes.

I've been hitting the walleye pretty good this season but Dad needs to start trying something LOL.

Tell him to use 3 ft of 6# vanish for a leader.Works like a charm.

Will be heading out that way this Saturday and maybe on Tuesday next week as well to bid the season a fond  good bye . Will call Silver Birch first to find out how the conditions are now after the big storm.Hoping that we can drive on if the ice is still good , and if not we will walk into the bay on the east side of the dock :) If that fails then we will be heading back to Moose Lake
Enjoy The Ride ,You only Get One Chance
