should of stayed home
« on: Mar 15, 2009, 09:40 PM »
Well went up to the cabin this weekend.  When we got up there around 6:00p.m friday night there was a 4ft pile of snow at the end drive way.  so we decided to try going the back way up which the gas company plows, well only half way we found out.  we made it 100' off the plowed part.  to keep a long story short we finally got the truck unstuck at 2:00p.m. Saterday afternoon when we gave up on digging and called a tow truck.  I didnt even make it out fishing tell 5:00pm saterday night and caught nothing, and sunday fished tell 3:00pm and caught 20 perch all were between 1.5"-6".  needless to say i shoulda stayed home ad went steelhead fishing.

also it was nice meeting you fished with engines

Glad you made it home OK. Good to met you and good luck with the new arrival.
I went back up today and got some real fine ones at the same spot as yesterday.
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day.... Teach a man to fish and his wife will never see him
