First Ice Fish

Well I've been trying all season to get my sons first fish through the ice.

Finally got this sweet little 17" Brown at 9:30 this morning. Man did he have a blast pulling that sucker in  ;D



and then not but 15 minutes later...  Got this beauty of an 18" 3lbs Bass  ;D  ;D



Guess that lifetime license is going to pay off {I think he's hooked}

That's great.  It looks like Dunmore - I didn't know there were browns in there.

How old is he?

Way to go ..   I just missed you nick you were pulling out on the main road and I just pulled in I stopped tried to get your attention but you never saw me  great job  can you PM me the pics so I can put them up on the board at the shop  congrats...  I went out with the girls to see how my brother was doing they had got a few bass  what a great day just a sweat shirt..

Age = 2

Whipplebuck - I saw a silver pickup jam on the brakes & stop behind me... But didn't think anything of it.  I was in a rush to get around the lake over to the state park. The NAIFC hosted a kids ice camp, we had a good time, got lunch & some free stuff  ;D

 :tipup:   How sweet it was to see my Grandson pull in these fish.  It's so funny just how hooked he is on ice fishing. That boy did not want to go in the shanty at all. He beat Grandpa ice fishing....  :'(  ......not hard on Lake Bumboweed. 
     :)     It's been a long time coming Preston getting his first fish.  Then he has a double day and is the first one of us to land a L/M Bass in the "Duff Shack".  Grandpa's proud of you Preston,   :-*  you've learned at an early age to love ice fishing    ;)   and you've done really nice so far.  Dad and Mom it was nice that you got to share these special moments together as a family may there be many more.  It was awesome to see him and his reactions.
