I was up in Champlain friday-sunday. Didn't fish the sandbar but did really well in Kelleys and Missiquoi as well as the pass behind holiday harbor motel. Bait was sort of a problem. I brought up some big bait from Steves in North Hartland but nobody had anything of any size up there. We were buying "pike bait" for 10$ a dozen that was 4 inches, tops- pretty small bait. Fishing was great though, pretty constant action, nothing huge, biggest pike was 31 inches but a lot of 30 inch fish and many over 25.
