Mine are only out b/c im waiting for the Gull Lake trip.  After Gull the ice fishin stuff is goin away.  THen i'll be fishin with the 9.5 ftr.  Then it'll be time to get the bow back out for spring turkey!!!

i say we have till at least mid to late march throughout most of kent county and isabella county......but im prolly goina be on the last inch of ice we have.....i cant wait to put my boat in but right now im still in ice fishing mode......so if i do fall through the ice someone save my shanty and my vex!

LOL,Mike....can't wait....I think about mushrooms all year long.I've still got a couple of gallons of dehydrated morels left...going to soak some up tomorrow to go with some venison back straps....

Mushroom hunting is AWESOME!!! We take a couple trips north every spring to go hunt them things... Nothin like stumblin around a BIG ol woods having no idea where you're at and all of a sudden there is this big ol smurf village comin right outta the ground!!!!

I take nature hikes with the kids and see those mushrooms all the time. Dont eat them so I just pick them and give them to some of the neibors. Last year I got 2 five gallon buckets full of them. I dont eat them so I just give them to my neibors. If you would like some pm me. Did I get you...?  ;D You were almost falling over yourself!!! :D

I also found some butter and garlic and didn't know what to do with it so I pour it over those mushrooms then I give them to my neibors.
