Candlewood perch

A bunch of !2" plus Candlewood perch. Not much smally action today.

Yeah that was a nice white, only one though. Had a bunch more smaller yellows that went back. My older brother is up from Florida (Ct. native), took him fishing. He taught me to fish thru the ice. When I visit him we catch 3 to ten pound peacock bass in the lagoon behind his condo. Ten foot basstender and electric motor drop shotting huge shiners. What a riot!

How was the ice there?

8 to ten inches where we were, (north of Squantz), one to two inches of water on the ice, edges breaking up in spots.
