looking 4 a lost tackle bag (Palmer Rd)

I figure I would cross post this from M-S.

I am my worst enemy. I AM SO STUPID, so stupid. I just slammed the ice fishing door shut and threw away the key. I got home from Palmer and realized that I was a bit light on gear. You guessed it, my bag with all my walleye/fishing gear was left at Palmer. Not only that but my fish finder as well. I broke my pattern when I went to put thise two items into the truck first just as I always do, but realized that my keys were in the truck and onlythe drivers side was unlocked, so I set them down and proceeded to load up other items. I just drove out there and they are gone. I can't remember the last time I cried that hard. Oh my god. I just lost hours at work due to the economic times and there is just no way that I can replace everything I lost. Please, if anyone hears anything about someone finding a fish finder and gear at Palmer please let me know.

I know that is such a bummer. I cannot even imagine. I'll keep an ear open.

Gary, it's not my stuff. I posted it to help a fellow sportsman out. I hope that someone with some integrity finds it and sees one of the messages.

I have lived the same pain. Mine was with an archery deer hunting experience though. I had loaded up my hardside bow case with everything except the arrows and didn't SLAM the tailgate on my truck. When I pulled out of the field and out on the road the tailgate poped open and I lost the world for my bow hunting until I replaced EVERYTHING!!! My bow, release, licenses, knives, extra broadheads, broadhead blades, string wax, flashlight, and who knows what else, gone in a flash.
The worst thing was getting the "STUPID" tattoo removed from my forehead. When I got home and realized what happened I bee-lined it back there but was too late. Some lucky soul got a great package when they picked that up only a few minutes behind me because everything was gone when I went back 20 minutes later.
