NH smelt
« on: Feb 17, 2009, 11:06 PM »
Nathan and I made the one hour drive to southern NH for an evening of smelting.  What a blast we had, fishing from 6 to 9 we got 34 smelt and a tommy cod.  Pretty good for our first smelting trip!

I know this is the MA board, but I feel like I know you guys, so I'm posting here.

I heard they get them in the Parker river too, does anyone here do that?

Here is Nathan with our catch.  He was babbling a mile a minute recapping the nights events when we got back to the truck, but then he was fast  asleep by the time we got to the highway.  He had the time of his life.
