If you found it where you went fishing yesterday I probably know who's it belongs too. You can keep it!! They took my power auger when I left it @ the end of a line of holes I drilled last weekend, they saw me looking for it and then decided they would ask me if I was missing something and returned it.

Walleye, someone stole your auger. Were you in a shack on the ice when they took it? If you were thats pretty ballsy and not cool. Stealing something that expensive is a good way to wake up with cement shoes watchin champ swim by.

I ran to shore to pick up some buddies. The auger was about 60-70 yards from my camper. They claim that they didn't know who it belonged too. I already shoveled around half the holes and had 15 tip-ups out. They also said I was stupid to leave the auger there and claimed that they could have ran it over. I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but I always leave my auger @ the end of my line until I get the tip-ups setup. Then I put it into my sled then bring it back. I wasn't very impressed.

Yeah once the ice is thick enough i'll drill half way through the ice and leave it in there to mark the end of the tipup line. Bigger object for people to see so they don't run over my tipups, had that happen once because of some ______ on a sled, my fault though I was using the polar plastic tipups that only sit 4 inches off the ice with a orange flag
