Lakes Near Quesnel
« on: Feb 12, 2009, 05:06 PM »
Hey all.
Me and a few buddies are going on an Ice Fishing Safari next weekend - looks like we will be focusing on Pete but were thinking of branching out a bit. I am from PG and have fished everything up here (crystal, emerald, squaw, eena ect.) but we are going to be down in the Quesnel area and I don't have a lot of knowledge of the lakes down that way (except Pete).

Does anyone have any suggestions for different spots within a couple of hours of Quesnel?

Cheers,
BB
PS - Here are some decent 'bows...

Nice colorful bow. Welcome to Iceshanty.
Maybe check out 10 mile for some kokanee ;)
Good luck in your search.

Being from Quesnel you will defineatly have to check out ten mile for rainbow and kokanee. Milburn lake is another little hot spot for rainbow and brook trout 15mins towards Nazko. If you want anymore info just ask. Maybe I'll tell you some better spots.

Try some lakes in by likely. Big  deep lakes means big fish. Have fun.
