has any fished the setback in orford this year? if so, what do you have in there for depths, weeds, fish? Thinking about checkingit out this weekend.

I fished it once before the first of the year for some perch. Never fished it for Pike if that is what you are after?
Deepest spot in the place is about 6' probably 5' now with the ice being really thick.

I'm actually chasing the flat fish, thanks for the info, hopefully there are some more people out there that have fished it.

Your not going to find any flat fish in the Orford setback. I don't think you will them in any of the setbacks up that way unless someone knows something I don't and I have lived there my whole life.

I know something you don't know. . . . . . there is a lot of panfish, gills, sunnies, crappie20 feet off rt 5

Never knew there were flatfish in the conn river that far north. Good to know. Which setback are you talking about?
