A good day...Finally!!

Took my son out this morning to a local pond.  Set up 4 tips and my Arctic Warrior.  Brought along 2 dozen shiners and was out of bait within three hours.  Had 18 flags and managed to get 8 slime darts including four on the Warrior (my first fish on it  ;D).  Seemed like we were getting a flag every five to ten minutes!!  First time in a long time that I ran out of bait.   Would have liked to get a couple of bass, but the way its been slow lately I'll take the pickerel.  It was nice to finally get some steady action and my son had a blast so that's really all that matters.

These type of days keep the kids interested.

 Cherish today and hopefully many more.

nice to run out of bait - then you can pick up the short wand and slay them that way - much better! ;D
