 Hey ! Has anyone got any info on sunset lake? how is the fishing these days in sunset anyone been their this year?

I was there today.  I fished right in the middle of the lake with tip-ups only.  I didn't catch anything.  Next time I will remember to bring my jiggin' rod.

if u want lots of action sunset is definitely the place to go, not so much for a trophy fish though, went a couple weeks ago and had 6 rainbows before i fished setting up my jacks...had to take the jacks out so i could jig up some lakers.  the rainbows are very finicky though if you don't come prepared your going to have a very frustrating day.

Hows the pike & bass fishing on sunset? any big ones? I know they have been getting small rainbows and a few perch . any big fish or numbers? 8)

the bass and pike in there are few and fare between but when you get one its usually a pretty good one....ive got 3 pike out of there and two of them have been over 18 lbs

hey freak sunrise heating up yet?
i was there last week slow slow slow did get a huge bass that tipped the scale at over 6lbs right in front of the swimming beach!! and jigged up one gill other than that it was just a vennison kinda day:)
where abouts do they usually get into the crappie there in the northend?

They catch some crappies in trout bay(west side) of lake, I have caught a few nice ones to the right of the swimming area where the culvert is. over in the corner in front of that bright green camp...alot of timber down in their!

i havent been back there yet this year ive been spending most of my time over on lake george but i got spring break all this week so ill prolly make it down there for a day or 2....for crappie i've caught a few out on the shelf but never more then 2-3 a day if that.  never really tried any other places for perch or crappie though.
