lake Carlton Morrison

I was wondering how lake Carlton has been this year. My grandfather would like to go there, only problem is we have never fished there. I have never seen the lake, I know there is a dam there but any and all info would be great. I already read the il fish report and ice conditions I was just hoping I could get a bit more information. We are going there Tuesday. Thanks for the help in advance guys.

sorry buddy, a little late hope you went and caught some fish. I grew up fishing that lake and would always catch fish through the ice accros from the concession stand. Find some down trees and drill a hole around there for crappie and bluegills. Wouldn't hurt to spend some time and try to get walleye on the west side of the lake. good luck
