hey timberdoodle thanks for a great spot. here is the biggest. dont ask me how big but my biggest pike ever and largest fish through the ice this year sor far.

well i hope this is not another fish story but while i was waiting for a few flags to pop i was jiging for perch in my pop up, and i looked down the hole and there was a fish with an 8" wide head 2" away from my tiny sweedish pimple. staring it down i just wobbled it and he sucked it in. i sunk the size 6 hook into him and cranked my drag down. this fish was spooling 8lb test with my rod almost breaking. i'm almost positive the fish was over 10. i couldnt believe it. he ended up sinking himself in the weeds and my hook popped out...but i'm sure you hear all kinds of stories of the one that got away. ;D

That pike you caught was probably around 8lbs,I bet if the fish you saw had an 8" wide head it probably weighed over 15lbs.
musta been neat to see that shark inhale that jig... :o

jeeze thats a nice fish was that on the river and were at ive been down at charlestown and wilson its been a good year so far for pike
