Does the pond seem alittle deeper this year? I found a lot of spots that were 14'-15' out in front of the elms.
There are spots on the Pond where the water is 15' in front of the elms out a bit.  I even have a few spots in my gps where I read out over 16.  They are good spots for walleyes in the Spring.  I don't know about the winter.
tip up tip down but for sure tip a few

hows the snow looking on the pond. might make the trip up on sat.
<br />Three-fourths of the EARTH\'s surface is WATER, and one-fourth is LAND. It is quite clear that the good LORD intended us to spend triple the amount of TIME fishing as taking care of the LAWN.

Packed down , easy walking or pulling your shanty. Some drifts but packed as well. If you're watching the same weather as I more snow coming.

Walk was good today, only sank to the ankles in most spots.  Did get pretty soft around the holes.
Caught a couple dozen in less than 1.5 hours, took 6 nice keepers home that were caught in less than half an hour.
They turned off as quick as they turned on.  The kids had a blast, little one's first trip out, he held up pretty good.
Prob go out again on Thurs.
