Where to go Tomorrow (WED)???

Day off tomorrow, will be heading up from southern monmouth county pending snow. Debating where to go...... Want to go to Cranberry cause I did well 1 day last season for pan fish/ pickrel. However always wanted to go to swartswood. Which lake would be more populated in the early am say 6 or7? I dont want to be the only one out there. Anybody going to be out?

Any lake you go tomorrow you'll be there by your self. You might see someone on Cranberry look luck

i'm probably going out to cranberry tomorrow. it all depends, but right now thats the plan. probably get there around 9:30. first trip this year, i hope the ice is good.

Well Mike hope you did well. I never made it up there today. However all my ice gear is now loaded in my car .

with this deep freeze you should be able to fish farington and the assunpink lakes
why run up if you dont have to call sportmans center and ask if anyones ice fishing the area

i got out there today, it was pretty good. got 6 pickerel on tip ups, never used the jigging rods. it was good to just have action again after not getting out at all last year.

on a side note, the ice wasnt nearly as thick as i thought it would be. about 4-5" on the north side of the lake, but near the boat launch it was only about 2". very creepy getting out there.

i have a boy scout trip this week our klondyke derby is this weekend were doing a trip on newjerseyhunter to green turtle on the 25th if anyone wants to join us
acouple of guys are from this site aswell if i can ill stop by white lake on my way home to see the ice condistions im sure it will be safe aswell
