Buffalo Bill
« on: Jan 11, 2009, 07:11 PM »
Around Christmas the ice was hard and clear and the fish were hungry   20-30 Cutts Bows and Lakers in 4 hours on the best days! Cold and often windy but worth it! Over 100 in six mornings on the ice One was 25" most of them 18"-- 20"

But then the chinook winds moved in to blast off the ice. It started blowing and even raining on the ice

I talked to a hardy fool today that jumped across the 3 feet of open water to fish on the wet slushy ice :o  But only caught a few. The ice is bad in my opinion  Be carefull!!!
Time on the ice is always worth more than money
