« on: Jan 15, 2009, 08:03 PM »
Guys, I posted this on the Equipment board but havn't gotten responces or looks, i'm impatient. Is the cajun red iceline junk? or does it have anough value to put it on one of my panfish rods (3lb)? Hopefully the snow machine will shut down soon in WNY!

Not sure about their 'ice' line, but the cajun red 'casting' formula appears to have low memory and is really growing on me.  Used it on my saltwater rods down in the Florida Keys this past October and held up well to some reel burning 'cuda and big jacks.  Has a bit of stretch but I favor that flexibility rather a stiff memory line.  Also heard of a couple steelhead fisherman on another forum that are liking it.

I have some on a reel I will be using when up in Wisconsin. I have no problem "seeing" the line, but since it's so inexpensive, I thought I'd give it a try.
