New additions to the arsenal!
« on: Jan 02, 2009, 08:11 PM »
Well I shouldn't have spent the money and I should have looked around for a better deal but I ended up getting a Fish TV from Cabelas for 30 bucks off and a fish light that has a 9inch fluorescent green light and a spot at the end of it and got 20 bucks off my entire order. So we will see how this will enhance my fishing experience or if it is overkill and just another addition to my gadget collection.

When the weather warms up anyway that is...

Tight lines

You've just upped your fish catching abilities by alot, Mr. Fireman.  I love my camera.  Especially if your using it in a hard-sided, semi-permanent shanty.  One more thing that I would highly recommend you buying, though.  A tripod to suspend your camera from in your camera hole.  They cost $15 bucks at sportsman's warehouse....or just fabricate something yourself.  Without something like this, it is very hard to control your camera direction.  Here is a couple pics of mine.  The little rubber piece on top snugs around your cable, and you can use that like a dial to go right or left....I'm sure you probably already knew about all this, but its 35 below out AGAIN, and I'm bored out of my mind.

I agree, I have a marcum camera and I tried dealing with that dam cable for 2 trips then I found the tripod and it's awesome!!!  An extra battery is always a plus if you'll be using it for more than 5-6 hours strait.
