C.I.L. Road
« on: Dec 31, 2008, 09:38 AM »
Well we FINALLY set up our shack on the Red off C.I.L. Road.

We are directly above the spot where we were Sunday. Although the fishing that day was NOT as productive as the previous Sunday's outing. The good thing thing about this is if the action stops here we can always move to another spot as the shack is fairly light and mobile.
A friend of mine also set his up further south of our location. I'm anxiously waiting for his report.

TIGHT LINES! :)

Shack looks good. When are you going to invite me for a fish?

yelik...C.I.L Road is highway 509 just south of the Selkirk Steam Plant. Sugar Island is just North of Selkirk where the Float Plane base is. You'll see plenty of shacks there. The Island you see is Sugar Island. The channel or "slough" as some call it is on your right. You can catch Northerns there. The End of Main is literally the End of Main street as you go North from Selkirk (9A) keep driving until you hit the End of Main. Goldeye Creek runs under the little white bridge you drive over just before the End of Main. I hope this helps. :)

BigB you can visit anytime. There may not be much room as it's a two man shack but you certainly can warm up. :)
