Fished today from 10am-1 pm. Ice is about 6-12" thick. Some spots are totally clear and you can see right through the ice.
Ice was poppin and crackin like crazy the whole time. Scared the h*&^% out of the kids so we didn't stay too long. Seems the lake is rising due to the rain and snow melting. So the ice is cracking everywhere. Kinda spooky !!
Anyway the water is murky brown and the fish don't wanna bite. Seen quite a few people in the cove by the dam, quite a walk.
Maybe next week the water will settle down.
