you need to buy one of the attachements to fill your own. it cost us 25 bucks to have 2 20#ers filled and we can get 36 small tanks from them. ends up being under a $1 to fill our own!!!

Oh, one more thing -I guess these little valves are illegal in NY. Not sure why, so I don't think Bass Pro or Gander would carry them. Call before you go. Cabellas did ship it to me ,obviously, to NY. I was told they are illegal from one of the guys at Energy Gases in E. Syr.

I just finished refilling 4 - 1# bottles. Alot cheaper but they get only about 3/4 full compared to a new bottle. If I'm out for the day 2 bottles will more than carry me thru on my buddy heater set on high. (and the heater lights and burns fine!). I only refill the coleman bottles for reasons stated above (threads seem better and the plungers don't hang up as I found to have happened a few times on the cheaper bottles). . I purchased my adaptor from Northern Tool Supply early last year. Well worth the price considering what I use to pay for 1# bottles by the end of the year, plus not all that garbage that was created by tossing those cans......Think Green...Recycle!
SO MANY FISH.........SO LITTLE TIME!
