It was a wet early morning trip. Was ok except for the gills that showed up.

It may be wet, but better traveling than the slush we found yesterday!

Congrats on another good morning bee.

Next year, instead of saying " Ready, Set, Go " when the ice first forms enough to go fishing, we should just say:
" Ready, Set, bee ".

Nice job, the weather in the Adirondacks has been erratic to say the very least. I hunted in zero degrees before Thanksgiving Day and now it is in the 40's and raining.

Just looking to get out on some safe ice in our state...... Keep up the good job in Maine.

Tell me about it, there were some big pickerel cruising around, I think the crappie were laying low.  :-\ Seems like the bite shuts down when the predators are around.

We hit the crappie hole late, about 11:00. Thought the overcast would help. The pond we hit early was dead too, not a crappie pond, but the picks, and bass are usually guaranteed. Just not active I guess. :-[
