Iowa Shanty Rental

I'd like to travel north to Iowa and take the kids ice fishing.  I'd like to rent a shanty that you can sleep in.  We are first time ice fishers, so it needs to be all-inclusive.  Can you recommend a place to rent such a package.  Southern Iowa is closer to where we live and is preferred.  Thanks all.

I'll be honest with yah but i dont think there is anywhere in the state that has sleeper shacks.  Your best bets would be Clear Lake or Spirit Lake/Okoboji and to the best of my knowledge no one on those lakes have sleepers for rent.  Keep heading north...

Me and a few other buddies were thinking about running some sleepers on Clear Lake next season at reasonable rates.  Beings no one does it in the state.  Guess its alot of work though according to some resort owners from Minnesota i've spoke with. So we'll see.

Anderson is right, and i think Hall lake Minnesota is probably the closest for rentals, i have never heard of or seen rentals in Iowa, especially southern Iowa, ................Kelly

Nice... I might add that brushy is one heck of place to go.  I haven't been disappointed yet.
