Hey guys I went out on Crystal Cove yesterday and there is some good ice. Didn't fish any just checking the ice. 3-4" across most of the lake. I did see someone out there with a shanty on the east side.

Ready to go. I went out there sunday and caught my limit in trout on waxworms.

I'll be up there for the holiday weekend, will probably hit the cove at least one day, private ponds the rest. 

Any secrets on finding the trout (depth/structure, not GPS coordinates), don't know the lake since its been re-done, but never really had any problem finding the trout.  Usually just go straight across from the parking lot, then just work deeper from the other shore and seem to find them at some point.

Go 10 yds off the fishing dock and then start drilling till you find fish. Try putting a worm on the drop off. One on the top and one on the bottom.
