Started out pretty good at Mallard cove, ice pushing 5 inches. Went down toward launch to what is called Cedar cove I think.

Ice seemed pretty good at 4 inches.  But the hike down to my hot spot ended with a splash.
Thank god for a long shanty pull rope and buddy present.  Out quickly  not much of chill if any.
Out of clothes roadside into dry insulated coveralls. That is tip 2 if you are keeping track.

Wacked crapola out of left elbow.  The non jigging arm. Also very nasty swollen welt below right knee.
I'll probably live.  4th time in and swimming I still don't recommend it.

Couple pretty nice crappie caught by me too.

Be safe spud out.

Cutting holes with hand auger is out for a bit.

I spread my dunking out pretty far though.

Yeah I might say E isn't ready but still think the angler has to be ready

We messed up but we knew what to do after.  Rookies might of still been in lake.

I feel bad cuz I sent you a text that said be careful. Next text back was about swimming and dry now. Sorry dude. You had the right buddy with you though.

Im still headed down Sunday. I have a few spots to try in that area. I gues im going to make my spud bar tonight. I have the rebar and tip for it. Just need to find a handle of some kind.
If I had a penny for every time, people thought they would get rich from getting pennys for every thing they claim they do or hear, over and over again, I would be richer than Richy Rich.

B_L, guess you know what mine looks like. Length is a good thing and weight. You might try a T handle up top.
About 10 more Ibu's spread over next 24 and no slipping on ice in drive I'll be good to go Sat. I think.
