any ice on blue mesa?

Has any one out there been to blue mesa yet? Its a hell of a long drive to see water and not ice. I wonder if my shanty will float, i might have to take my trollin motor just incase.

I've seen reports there is ice by lake city bridge with a little open water out on the main lake. We will wait till Feb. and go over there for a week.
