Is there anyone still hoping to get on the ice in NW CT this weekend?
Do you think there are any lakes not yet "crapped out"??
I am wondering about Bantam, Highland, and Winchester.
Any information on these lakes would be much appreciated!

i will be heading that way this weekend with my brother ken.more than likely it will be at highland. i need to get one more trip in this year! i fished more times this year than i have ever ice-fished any other year, i got about 30 times out this year but it was all the same lake! i feel a little cheated. just hoping to get one more trip in the north west corner.

I'll be back on Miss Winch Friday. But with the sunny skies and above average temps coming, the fat lady is singing my tune. It's very likely my last blast of the season since i wouldn't be out again until next week. I'll swing by Highland on the way home and see what shape 1'st bay is in for you guys.

out here in ne ct , still 5 to 9 inches in the middle pond  quaddick just came off walked right to shore ,there is a plank too. nothing much going on , but hey im fishing on top.
