Maine Crappie are quit the secret, Most of my old friends never heard of them.
There is so much water to cover and fishing pressure is low.
On this day I used 10 dozen minnows and iced more then 75 fish.
Here are some fish not fit to eat..(As classified by a Maine Salmon fishermen)



If you eat these you could fill a cooler with fillets in one day
The ponds are infested..

One man's trash is another man's treasure. Those crappies look ancient! Those are almost the same size as the brontocrappisaurus that reside in Upper Red Lake.
