In regards to registering a quad or snowmobile
« on: Oct 16, 2008, 08:37 AM »
Hi everyone, just had a question about registering a quad or snowmobile in the state of New Hampshire. I will be heading up to Lake Winnipesaukee again to Ice fish this winter and would like to take the sled or quad up. Didn't know if they have a 3-day pass so I don't have to change the Mass plates. I know that Vermont has a 3-day pass thing and you have to carry insurance which makes it expensive and a pain in the rear. I hope its easier for New Hampshire. Any information is much appreciated. Thanks again

No pass as far as I know. Out of state reg I believe around $70. Good from start of May to end of June. Don't know why we don't have reciprocity on OHRV's.  Guess its a hassle tracking down violaters if there from out of state.

am i reading this right.......your registration for an atv is not the same as a boat registration.......if i was to go to  maine or mass with my boat i am legal.......just need to purchase a milfoil sticker for maine......however, if i go icefishing in maine or mass i need to get a registration for those states........am i correct???????
when chuck norris played golf for money, chuck marked down a hole in zero every time, the golf pro said, "chuck: you can't score zero on a hole." Chuck norris turned towards the man and said, "I'm chuck norris, the man proceeded to pour gas over his body and set himself on fire because that would be less painful than getting roundhouse kicked by chuck norris....chuck norris roundhouse kicked him in the face anyways

hey art......what's that pond that is connected to silver lake called.......there are surely some bass in there, but it is one heck of an adventure to get in there......also, can you park at silver in the winter along side the road if you are a non resident or do they not want you to park there due to plowing, etc.......i know the main launch is residents only.......lastly, is there a way on that back pond in the winter.......i would like to wet a few lines this winter, but don't want to cause any waves with the parking situation.......we witnessed a few people back there on the beach and it looked like they were parked along side the road......let me know

Hey Jibbs, when the time comes and we get some ice on those lakes and ponds, let me know when you head up to Lake Attitash if its the same one I am thinking of up by the Amesbury town line. I went to fish that lake last year, but the edges were so broken up cause of the rain it wasn't worth it.

Yup, Jibbs is right, I fish it every year (for the past 8 or so) and just about every year the "Top 10" fish are all over 4lbs. My buddy and I got knocked out of 8th and 10th last year with 2 that weighed 4-7 and 4-8.  Years back we placed 4th and 8th with fish again in the 4 and 1/2 range. The winner is usually 6 or 7 plus :o.

Jibbs, depending on how many of the "Strictly Business Crew" are going, I can give you guys a hand. We use a 4 wheeler with a 4X6 flat-trailer behind to tow gear and passengers.  ;)

Keep me posted on when that derby is at Lake Attitash.

Will do.

It is usually held the weekend or second weekend after the Winni Derby.

i don't wan't to resorrect any phantom pike from the past or anything but i fished the flat on attitash early spring this year its flat and very shallow while floating around in the canoe i noticed somthing whitish on the bottom and paddled over to it . it was a fish head that somone had discarded was either a pike or a very large pickeral now if it were a pik it had to be in the 4 to 5 lb. range judging from the size of this thing it was big..i'm talking about the area on the other side of the bridge. ???
