They're nearly identical to the ice armor gloves(water retention). I really like the suit, but they need to do better with the gloves. just my 2 cents.

Yea they need to work on the gloves they run small and if your hands are wet they are hard to get on.
If the ice is tipping move to the center

I own a pair of the Ice Armor mittens. I like'em well enough. They come up past mid-forearm which is great when you don't wear a coat. When you wear a lighter layer like a shirt-jac, they go over the sleeves. When you wear a coat they tend to bunch up because they're not wide enough to fit over the coat sleeve and too wide to get under the sleeve. It bugs the heck out of me. But as far as the performance...no complaints. They do just fine.

There was somebody on the Shanty that didn't particularly like the glove version. I don't quite remember the thread. I guess he had a pair and was disapointed with them.

I still love the $8 rawhide and berber fleece mittens I got from the hardware store. I bought'em because I figured they'd be great to throw away once they get nasty with fish guts, but I still have'em.  I don't know if that's because they're a quality product or if I just don't catch enough fish!  :D
