Very Nice!  I love catching Whitefish!  Wish we had more ice on Flathead, didn't get to fish for them this year yet and it doesn't look like I will get to...

Again nice video, above and below shots are great!

Neat whitefish video Iceshanty, you were really shallow for them eh. 8)

I like that your video is in color.
Can you see as far with color as the black and white cameras?
Can you adjust your color, contrast and sharpness?

The plastic lure you used looks to be a shrimpo correct?

Yeah WW, I am on a sandbar in 3' fow. We have been catching them just about as shallow as the fish can fit under the ice. The camera has all the color, brightness, contrast and sharpness options. Where I am in the river it is fairly clear water I can see the whitefish coming around 30' away easily, the image produced by the Marcum VS825C camera is awesome. The lure is called a Loogie, a jig Coldfeet and I have been toying with. I have found that a larger body jig, perch pattern with the same tail is working far better.

How is the night vision on the color Marcum camera?
Can you see a fair ways?
Does the camera still have good color vision at night?

that was a cool video! I am quite curious how though the color would look in deeper water. I live on Lake Erie and in our bay, we can be shallow as 5 foot and deep down in the high 20's. I fish avg depth about 15-18' for perch. Anybody know how well it does that deep? The light? The water was extremely murky this ice season where I could barley see 1-2 feet in front of my aquaview, if it werent for it tellin me my direction I'd probably not have found my jig!

It really depends on water clarity, the sunlight/cloudiness and snow cover will determine lighting at depth. On a local lake I fish the water clarity is very poor once I get down to 20' it all goes black, using the light helps but viewing distance is limited. This summer I used the VS825c camera in a very clear lake I could see great for several feet at 50-60' foot depths.

Murky water low light only 5' deep. Can see with eye maybe 3' down, camera sees about the same.

Slightly murky... brown river water at dusk with camera lights on.

Fairly clear water can see at least 15'

Super clear water, can see pretty dang far.

*Note I pulled these stills from my video captures, on the VS825c screen you will see a brighter and much clearer picture.
