Made it out to Silver lake today with a buddy and theres still a good 10 inches of ice out there. We did pretty good catching two 10 inch gills and four 9.5 inchers. There was quite a few guys out there and even a couple little kids who looked like they were having a blast. We ended up with 25 decent keepers in a couple hours.
I do have a question...I heard theres a lot of walleyes in Silver Lake and that guys were killing them over the weekend. I didnt see anyone out there land any tonight. I know seasons close but I've never caught one through the ice!!! How and where on Silver would be my best bet?
